Living in Western Pennsylvania, driving in winter weather is inevitable. As of this morning, the snow is officially here – but are you ready to take on the winter roads?
Take a look at this checklist from one of our carriers, State Auto, to prepare for the coming weather.
Prepare for the coming weather by preparing a vehicle emergency kit
An emergency kit should include:
- First aid kit with bandages
- Flashlight and batteries
- Blanket
- Universal manual cell phone charger
- Bottle of water
- Jumper cables
- Hat and gloves
Of course, the best way to avoid a winter-weather accident is to stay off the road, but that’s not always possible. For more tips on driving in bad weather, take a look at this additional article.
